It’s getting to be that time of year. Warm, humid nights, hard-packed tracks, and diesel trucks tearing through the dirt with the iron sleigh in tow. Rumor has it that Jon Woskob’s Rollin’ Coal second-gen will be sporting a brand-new look this season. You might remember his cut-tire Dodge as the big Saturday night winner of the Super Stock Diesel 4x4 Truck class at last year’s National Tractor Pulling Championship in Bowling Green, Ohio (i.e. Pull Town USA). Woskob’s triple-turbo Cummins also turned in a memorable First Place effort in the Run What Ya Brung category at the Weaklands Truck and Tractor back in October.

Tommy Hassler never misses an opportunity to hook one of his trucks to the sled. The PA-based, east coast pulling fanatic brought this 6.4L-powered Ford out of hibernation, changed the oil, and headed for Easton to hook with Pull-Off Productions over the weekend. There, his King Ranch crew cab dominated, taking the win in the Wild Street class. This is the same Tommy Hassler that campaigned a P-pumped 7.3L Ford in the Pro Stock category in recent years—and that is currently piecing a Super Stock truck together. Remember the Hassler Diesel name this summer…

DNR Customs continues to spread the news of its findings inside the all-new 6.7L Cummins. Last week, they confirmed that the new aluminum, bonded timing cover gasket can be used on an ‘18 Cummins. While the fit wasn’t 100-percent perfect, Permatex aviation sealer got the nod in the few spots where the seal could’ve been considered questionable. The guys at DNR like the new timing cover gasket because its aluminum construction provides a slight crush when installed. But don’t expect to get your hands on one easily. They’re currently on backorder thanks to DNR’s letting the cat out of the bag on this OE-upgrade. Cummins PN 6387074, Mopar PN 68722045AA.

Between chasing 4,000-rwhp with Red Delicious on the chassis dyno and releasing his ’15 back out into the wild, the summer of 2025 is fixing to be one to remember for Randy Reyes. The four-door fourth-gen dually that once took on famed “Pritchett Canyon” at Moab is poised to return to the trail, but where? For now, you’ll have to wait and see. But once it happens, expect whatever the truck does to go viral on social media. Last time things got serious, the truck broke a front axle and body work was needed, but the 9,000-plus pound Ram conquered one of the tougher rock crawl sections in the off-road world.

From inception, the 6.7L Powerstroke's CCV filter system has been a leaky pig, that kills gaskets if not maintained. That's not news, however, we recently took the latest version from Ford, and dissected it with a bandsaw. This system was supposed to be the end-all for the 6.7L's CCV system woes. Turns out, it's not what we were led to believe it was. Check out this video where Dan tears the Ford OE CCV Box apart.

If you're a hockey fan, or someone that loves vehicles with a cool back story, check out this one. This 2006 Ford GT was at one point owned by Wayne Gretzky. Yeah it's not his now, but it's still a really cool piece of history for an iconic car. Well, it's currently up for sale at the duPont Registry. The asking price? Nearly $800k. Now that might seem high, but this is one of the rare Heritage edition cars of which only 343 were made. Heritage Edition GT's generally go for between $600k and a million. So from afar, the price seems extremely realistic, especially considering its celebrity ownership history. Take a look at the photos, this thing looks brand new and with only 1,226 miles on the clock, it should be. And check out the door numbers. Yep, thats Gretzky's #99.
