Old thermostat out, and new one in, running temps have not been above 183 since I installed. So far all the SPE upgrades have been really high quality.

High flow....low temp. Does exactly what it says it does. We pull in 100+ degree weather and the highest I see the oil and Transmission now is about 207 and 203 respectively in that heat pulling 8,000 lbs. If I did not have this then those temps would be a lot higher for sure. Great product!

I have a 2017 F350 with 410 gears it would normally run 200 2 to 210 with every day general driving now it stays 180 to 185. This should really help when towing my 44 foot fifth wheel.

Installed my SPE Low temp High flow thermostat and I love it!
Pulled a load of hay and my 2011 F-350 ran way cooler then before, it dropped my Transmission and oil temperatures about 10 degrees. I definitely recommend buying this SPE Thermostat. GREAT PRODUCT!

New to the diesel world with a 2015 F350 DRW. Installed the Thermostat without comparing before and after as I wanted to make the upgrades before hauling. Ran the truck to Tucson and Prescott from California to pick up a new horse trailer. No problems whatsoever. Then ran the truck under load running to Northern CA for Turkey Day. Again, no issues whatsoever. The truck ran exceptionally cool while running up the Grapevine towing 15k+ lbs. on the bumper and it ran perfectly.
Not sure if the product did what it was supposed to do however, the temperature on motor and trans worked perfectly. Definitely support the product as it is an easy install, even for a Diesel virgin!

2017 Ford F350 Lariat -6.7 Powerstroke
Bought the SPE thermostat designed for the Powerstroke as I was having issues pulling my 40' triple axle 5th wheel during the summer when outside temps would get above 95 degrees.
I was going to flush all of the fluid, replace a couple hoses and make sure system was in good shape - when I ran across the SPE Thermostat. After reading the reviews, it seemed like a "no brainer", so I bought it.
I have installed the new SPE Thermostat and have nothing but good things to say.
Super fast shipping - got the part in like 2 days.
Super easy install - only had to pull 3 bolts on top of the motor.
Engine oil temps before installing were running 199-201 (not pulling trailer, highway driving at about 75mph, and with OAT of about 75 degrees).
Engine oil temps after install dropped to 181-183 right away under same conditions.
Can't wait to see the change in the summer pulling the trailer, but I am sure it will make a huge difference.

Absolutely thrilled with the immediate drop in temps on my 17 F350. The running temps average about 14-17 degrees cooler than I experienced with the factory thermostat. It will be a big help in keeping the oil temp a little cooler when towing a trailer over the mountains.

Receive item quickly, installed in about 1hr. prior to installation took temp and transmission readouts. After hitting the highway for about an hour, looked at temps for both. Water temp was 7 degrees below and transmission temp was 6 degree's below what I normally saw. Will be traveling with 40ft 5th wheel first week in October. That will be the real test since there are a lot of hills on our route to Oklahoma City, will let you know the outcome. Installation was done to my wife's 2017 Ford F350 dually.

I put this thermostat on my 2013 6.7 and loved it so naturally it was my first mod to my new truck and let me say it still doesn’t disappoint. Ford says these engines normal operating temp is 220-240 that’s just crazy to me. I just took a 900 mile trip pulling a horse trailer with 2 horses in it in mid august in Texas where temps get 105 easy outside and oil never got over 205 trans 203 was the high and coolant 187 such a work of art heat is a killer and this bad boy keeps it nice and cool

Product works great. Engine oil remains 13-15 degrees cooler at 188, trans 20-25 degrees cooler at 175, and coolant temp remains around 177-180 no matter how heavy my foot is into the pedal. Excellent product!!

I would typically run around 215 to 220 on these hot southern days hauling a trailer and with the high flow low temp thermostat I run between 185 and 195. Feel a lot better with these temperatures.

Seems to have dropped oil temps a lot. Roughly 25 degrees empty. Trans temps are still higher than I’d like. Replaced the factory cooler they’re lower but this trans just inherently runs hot. Added the mishimoto aux add on cooler and we’re now at 195-205 loaded with 10k

Firm believer in this product! Left the house with over 1300lbs went to Hurricane Utah anyone that’s ever been out there knows when you get west of Denver Colorado it’s some serious hills to pull! First big bull in hot weather was 226 degrees trans was 230 hit the bottom at 65mph dropped to 58mph on a continuous pull rest of the way across interstate 70 and interstate 15 going south never got above 219 on pulls. Last time across there on stock thermostat had to keep backing out because truck was getting hotter than I was comfortable with! Next trip hopefully I will have there transmission proprietary solenoied installed and give it hell to see what it does!

2021 f450 hauling 2021 keystone avalanche 395bh. From Nashville tn, to Asheville North Carolina. Lots of mountain terrain. Oil temp never exceeded 195, trans temp stayed around 200. The coolant temp stayed around 185. I'm happy with the results.

We had to make a midnight ride to Corsicana, Texas trailering a Tahoe to a friend that needed a vehicle because his had broken down mid trip. We delivered the Tahoe, loaded up a dead Mustang for the return trip. All nighter, 70-75 mph, no loss of mpg loaded or unloaded, and the truck ran amazingly cool. Well worth the few dollars and the thirty minutes installation time. Every 6.7 needs one.

My 2012 defueled when it got to 220 on the water temp. I was in "Mexico" WOT for longer than normal and it was a warm day. So I researched thermostats, read the SPE R&D article and it sound like exactly what I needed. Next time WOT in "Mexico" WOT for extended period it stayed much cooler. I was watchin water and oil temperature on a mini maxx in both cases
seems to be an average offset in temps on my truck by 20 degrees on the water temp in normal driving conditions and the oil temp balances out at 180. you can tell it flows better because if it does heat up from WOT it comes back down very quickly and when it goes up its not even reaching what was normal with the stock t stat
