The part was super easy to replace. The old part had been leaking after it was opened. Unfortunately the OEM part was not available and had bad reviews. No leaks so far after a week of use.

Quality of the fuel drain valve is excellent. Not going to have to worry about snapping the little tabs off ever again. Good strong seal on the o-rings and the raised drain hole that fits perfectly into a plastic water bottle is legit. Buy this direct replacement and never worry about it again.

Rock hit stock fuel drain valve. Went to drain water from fuel filter and it dropped in my hand? Looked at fuel drain and it was all broken up . Today I Took the Billet water drain plug to my Ford Dealer to have my fuel filters changed and while I was there asked them to replace my (PLASTIC) piece of crap water drain plug. (Youāre kidding Ford Engineers actually thought Plastic is a good idea for a Drain plug on a HOT ENGINE ! )

After showing it to my Ford Professional Mechanic who installed it. I know this guy he knows his stuff! He said he had heard about them but never saw one. After installing He came out to me and said it fit great , looks great and should last the life of the truck. Iām a happy customer thank you.

Perfect fit for my 2017 f250 6.7 power stroke as Indicated on the web site. Super stoked to have found this part as I am on my second oem plastic piece of trash from ford. Shipment tracking and fit as already stated were all top notch. Will post an update of the water bottle fitment for filter draining when its time to do a filter change. High quality part and I can't wait to get it installed. My only complaint would be the packaging. Very thin bubble wrap which allowed it to get scratched during shipping. No box or anything, just placed in an envelope. Sticker was also torn and damaged.

Hello, I broke the Ford yellow plastic drain valve when changing the fuel filter. I was relieved
to find I wasn't the only one to break it and also that someone had made a better one of
metal. The drain valve is an exact fit, and because the handles are bigger it's much easier to
to twist and snap in the lock position. The only thing that I noticed is that after installing and
running my F-350 a day it was wet at the drain hole. Wiped it dry again and its been good since (300 miles). I believe some fuel residue was in the bottom of the new drain plug after installation. One recommendation would be to bevel/slope the inside bottom so that any
fuel that drips into the drain valve as you install it can drain out immediately.

The aluminum drain valve is easier to open/close than the plastic OEM drain valve. When turning the OEM valve, it only has 2 points of contact that you can use to turn it; and seems very weak. The aluminum valve has 4 points of contact and is a much stronger material. Opening and closing is much easier. The aluminum valve fits very well, no leaks have been observed since changing out OEM a little over a week ago. Awesome product.

This is a very simple install. Just a little extra security. I did not like Fordās stock plastic drain plug the truck came with. I installed this while installing my disaster prevention kit. Huge upgrade from OEM drain valve. I have a 22 F250 and the first time draining the separator the plastic OEM valve broke. Figured Iād upgrade from the get go. Instead of buying a ton of OEM valves for the life of the truck, itās much cheaper to get this awesome billet upgrade that physically cannot break like the OEM valve and youāll only need one for the life of the truck. Easy install and didnāt even remove the filter housing. Highly recommend.

Superior product and design. Something so simple can turn into a giant headache. A few days after Thanksgiving, I went to drain my water separator, and the cheaply made and bad design OEM drain valve left me stranded at the campground we were staying at over the holiday. Luckily we were able to extend our stay at the campsite and wait for the (full billet) SPE upgraded drain valve to come in.
Don't be like me and wait to order the fantastic product. I know I should've ordered the part sooner.

Ordered a fuel- water separator billet for my Ford F350. Received confirmation of order and a few days later the product arrived. Drained my fuel-water separator, popped out the old one and replaced with the new aluminium one. Fit perfect. A must for all Ford truck owners.

Removing the OEM ford drain valve was a little difficult but installing the SPE drain valvewas easy, the drain valve is a great product definitely recommend it to all powerstroke owners.

Recently I did an oil change along with a fuel filter change. Wasn't too bad but I noticed after I did the change the drain valve was weeping so I ordered the drain valve which looks great! I went to install it and wouldn't you know... the plastic tab on the drain valve broke and fell into the bucket of fuel... I put the new aluminum drain plug in and problem fixed! Now I don't have to worry about it anymore. Definitely peace of mind
