An oily intake is annoying. Not only does it help boots fail, add to the EGR build up and reduce engine performance, but it also leads to other oil leaks, some you wouldn't expect. When the factory 6.7 CCV system becomes restricted, pressure has a harder time escaping the crankcase, which put more pressure against seals and gasketed joints. And no, were not reaching here, CCV created oil leaks on the 6.7L Powerstroke are near the top of the complaint list. They're that common.
