The IMRC system is basically the factory manifold trying to “help” you make torque. Sounds great, until... you add boost, and that help, turns into the thing that’s holding you back. These lockouts keep the IMRCs open all the time, which is why we recommend them for all forced induction applications. Install is straightforward, the parts are billet and black anodized, and you get to ditch the actuator, sensors, and vacuum lines. Less clutter, fewer variables, smoother power delivery.
